    Kazha is a rock band founded by a Japanese singer-songwriter Kazuha Oda (Kazha) and a guitarist Hideki Matsushige in 2009. 

    Kazuha Oda is a classically trained singer who has worked in various genres of music from Classic to Heavy Metal. Her work has appeared on the iTunes Top 100 charts of numerous countries for a significant amount of time. She is an Official Ambassadors of “Music Export Memphis” and currently touring nationally, representing the Birth Place of Rock’n’Roll Memphis, Tennessee. 

    After the release of their first album in 2010, Kazha made its first U.S.A. debut performing at San Francisco’s Asian Heritage Celebration, sharing the stage with hip-hop group Far East Movement. In September 2010, the band made its first Anime Convention debut at Colorado’s Premier Anime Convention “Nan Desu Kan.” They also appeared at “Vianco Expo” and made their debut in Mexico that same year. Since then, they have been performing at numerous Anime and Comic Conventions and Festivals around the world. Kazha has shared the stage with national artists such as George Lynch, Tracii Guns, LA Guns, Y&T, Tantric, and Trapt until now. Around 2015, the band gradually started to move their base of operations to Memphis, TN. Since then, they have been featured on local broadcasts such as WREG News Channel 3, Channel 24, and WMC Action News 5. 

    Kazha represents a new future of music: a fusion of cultures and musical view points that create their sound, combining the softness of a falling feather and the heaviness of a hurricane.

    Professor Shyguy hacks a Game Boy to write his own music, adds powerful vocals, ripping guitar solos, and adequate keyboard to create a highly-danceable, theatrical take on pop music. His live shows are intense but inviting, often humorous with a strong visual component, encouraging audiences to participate or just sit and take in the music. He has toured through 47 states, opened for They Might Be Giants, Andrew WK, Mega Ran, Protomen, Psychostick, etc. There are many places you might have already heard him, including singing in episodes of Dragon Ball Super, Kumail Najiani & Emily Gordon’s podcast ‘the Indoor Kids’, Diamond Club, youtube shows like Angry Video Game Nerd, GuudeBoulderfist, PortsCenter, or in video games like Infernax.

  • Guest Announcement: Brent Mukai

    Brent Mukai is a voice actor from Pearl City Hawaii who works in video games, animation, anime and commercials. He’s been voice acting full time since 2017 and has 15 years of experience in acting, stand up, and improv comedy. In 2021 he won the Society of Voice Arts Award for Outstanding Anime Character – Best Male Voiceover for Ginji in the Funimation anime Full Dive. He’s also been in countless video games and anime like Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart, Demon Slayer, One Piece, RAINCODE, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Fire Emblem, Attack on Titan and countless others.

  • Guest Announcement: Kyle McCarley

    Kyle McCarley grew up (but not really) in Kansas and moved to Los Angeles at age 18 to study acting. After getting hooked on playing World of Warcraft with his buddies, he co-wrote, co-directed, and voiced several characters in a fan-made online radio play loosely set in that universe. Once he finished his Theatre degree at the University of Southern California, he decided to further pursue that passion in the form of a career in voice acting. Kyle’s voice can now be heard in anime, video games, cartoons, audiobooks, live action dubs, TV and radio commercials, industrial ads, and even a talking toy plunger.

  • Guest Announcement: Lisa Ortiz

    Lisa Ortiz is a New York based veteran voice actor, director and producer. Her career as a voice over  artist began under the shroud of an attempted auto larceny gone awry. Luckily for her, and for her  sibling the perpetrator in question, the car battery died. (No seriously, my brother tried to steal my  car. That’s how I got into anime. Just ask me. I’ll tell you.).  

    As a VA, she is most well known for her role as Lina Inverse, and Amy Rose in Sonic the Hedgehog, but she began her career as the high elf Deedlit in Record of Lodoss War. Since then she has gone on to record dozens of anime, series, audiobooks, video games, and films both as a voice and as a Producer, Director and Adapter. Her voice has been heard internationally on Disney XD, SciFi, Cartoon Network, WB, Nickelodeon and Netflix amongst others. And has appeared most recently onstage in the one woman show “I Couldn’t Possibly love you” at 53 above at the Broadway Comedy club and Don’t tell Mama, as well as the Anime Cabaret Improv Jam.  

    She is currently the director of Pokemon Journeys and has worked on the show in various capacities over the years since Indigo League. From Misty’s older sister Daisy, to Sabrina, to Flannery, to Talia, Oshawatt, to Fletchling and present day gym leaders Korrina Litten, Rotom Rocket, Torracat and  Poipole.  

    She can currently be heard as Maetel in Galaxy Express 999: Eternal Fantasy, Eremiya in Fire  Emblem Heores, Ai in Aria, Neesha in Mewtwo Strikes back, Natarle Badegireul in Gundam Seed,  Carla Montez in Dead Rivals and various voices in SMITE (Divine Dragon Belllona, Izanami), Mini in RoboCar Poli, Royal Academy, Noemblue in Street Fighter V, World of Winx, Mily Miss Questions, and Taffy. Favorite roles include, Serenity Wheeler: Yu-gi-oh, Tony Tony Chopper: OnePiece (4Kids),  Shiori: Revolutionary Girl Utena, Rina: Time of Eve and The Devil in Gangstar 4, and Musa/Icy: Winx club. Directing credits include Psychic School Wars, Pokemon the Movie: I Choose you, Mewtwo Strikes Back, Norm of the North and mobile games for, The Dark Night Rises, Dungeon Hunter 5, Modern Combat 5 and Netflix’s Heroes United and a few projects still not able to be disclosed. She is President of Noise of O Productions, co-founder of www.voicesforfosters.org and currently resides in NYC, with her fabulous felines Littie and Boudica (Boodie).

    Ricco Fajardo

    Ricco Fajardo is an actor best known for his work in anime and video games (Mirio in My Hero Academia, Taiju in Dr. STONE, Nozel in Black Clover, Kotaro in Zombieland Saga, Genkins in Red vs Blue, God in The Cyanide & Happiness Show, Achilles in Smite, and Corvus in Paladins, Maxime in Tales of Luminaria, Shiki Taishou in Genshin Impact.) Recently, you can also see him on-screen in Hulu’s “Cruel Summer” and CW’s “Walker.” He studied acting and received his MFA from SMU (pony up!) and BA from UC Irvine (zot, zot!) He spends his free time practicing parkour in Dallas, TX- alongside his chonk cats Rocky, Ollie and Belle.”

    Zeno Robinson

    Zeno Robinson is an actor residing in Los Angeles, California. Zeno began his acting journey in middle school, and after taking a program called “All About Kids”, signed with CESD Talent. He would gain his professional voiceover start soon after as “Alan Albright” in Ben 10 Alien Force at 14 years old, and has since studied under industry pioneers such as Charlie Adler, Tony Gonzales, Kris Zimmerman, Phil Lamarr, Ginny McSwain, and Tony Oliver. Zeno can now be heard as “Remy” in Big City Greens, “Hawks” in My Hero Academia, “Cyborg” in Young Justice, and “The Green Poncho” in Craig of the Creek.

    Kirk Thornton

    Kirk Thornton has been a voice actor for over 40 years. His major roles include Brandon Heat in Gungrave, Hotohori in Fushigi Yūgi, Klein in Sword Art Online, Jin in Samurai ChamplooHajime Saito in Rurouni KenshinJet Link in Cyborg 009Don Patch in Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Ensign Nogami in The Cockpit and numerous Digimon. Additionally, Thornton co-directed for the popular anime series Bleach alongside Wendee Lee and also serves as the narrator. In video games, he voices Number VII Organization XIII member Saïx in the Kingdom Hearts series and Shadow the Hedgehog (since 2010) and Orbot (since 2008) in the Sonic the Hedgehog series.
