Sunsational Idol Festival

Welcome to Colossalcon’s Sun-sational Idol Festival, presented by 2wisted Idols! Come make a splash and stand beside fellow idols on our shining stage! We encourage all kinds of idols to apply, from newly formed groups to seasoned performers! This will NOT be a competition and is instead a showcase of all your talent and skill to the crowd. Bring your best moves, sparkliest outfits, and highest energy to join us for our event! Applications are open now!

Event Rules

Important Dates: Applications will close on April 12, 2024 at 11:59pm
Results will be sent out on April 15, 2023 by 11:59pm

Information and Basic Guidelines:

  • Please only communicate through the Primary Contact. This will be whoever submits the form for you/your group. All changes will need to be made through them, so keep this in mind!
  • All members of your group MUST be 13+ in order to participate. This is non-negotiable.
  • You must have a valid badge to Colossalcon Prime for the day the festival takes place.
  • Every idol may only perform with ONE group. You cannot perform with multiple groups or as a soloist and then with a group later. 
  • Rehearsal will take place an hour before the festival. You will not be able to do a full run of your sets, this is mostly for everyone to get a feel for the stage, test audio, visuals, lighting, etc. 

Time Limits:

  • Groups will have the option to select a 5 or 10 minute slot for the festival in the application. Please choose the most appropriate option for the set you have planned. You are welcome to use as much or as little of your slot as you need and do not need to fill the whole thing. 
  • ex. An idol performing one song at 2 and a half minutes in length would select the 5 minute slot. Another idol performing 3 songs at a total length of 8 minutes would select the 10 minute slot. 

Selection Process:

  • Applying does not ensure you acceptance into the festival. Upon closing of the forms, we will review the applications and make final selections. We are doing this in order to provide a show with a diverse set of performances.
  • You will receive an email by the end of the day on April 15th, 2024 with your results. If you do not hear back by April 16th, please reach out to 2wistedidols@gmail.com. Don’t forget to check your spam inbox!
